Stop In Time



A moment my dear friends
I wish to contemplate this verse
A song perhaps only I may hear
The unrequited love ballad
As painful as it is beautiful
A morose melody chimes
To what end a heart will stay
For what love may greet it someday
My friends please stay
For the lover and the friend
Are vital to the soul
One a foundation
The other an answer
To a moment in time
