Stolen Lives Poem by Phil J Hambling

Stolen Lives

Rating: 5.0

Stolen Lives
Taken by your hate
Stolen Lives
Taken by your ignorance
Stolen Lives
Taken by your followers
Stolen Lives
Taken by the trainload
Stolen Lives
Taken by suffering
Stolen Lives
That we reclaim
Stolen Lives
That we remember
Stolen Lives
That hope regains

Outside the huts there were no birds or even birdsong. It was a dreadful experience for all those victims.

In Munich several years ago I walked around Dachau concentration camp that had photos in every hut of the dreadful things that happened there. It was just too awful to describe. Outi
