Stolen Poem by Coen Carter

Stolen

My world has been stolen nothing left in motion
All that once was broken now swallowed by the ocean
Diaries of writing fuelled with hidden fears
Now sinking to the bottom the ashes turn to tears
Nothingness and emptiness we never seem to plan
Forgetfulness and loneliness both come hand in hand
There is no prize for second you always must come first
Look into my eyes and scream try and do your worst
I live in constant nightmares but look forward to a dream
My heart and soul were more than hers but still you crown her queen
