To be as still as a stone
To be with everyone I love
To know life without revenge
To understand a heart ache

Wanting to believe you'll be there
Trusting someone, so rare
Will things get better
or do I have to tread water

Sometimes I see us as one
I want to know if things are alright
would one day i'll find the truth in you
as I badly want you to be true

I've seen your living lies
after failing so many tries
Never in the end, see you again
as goodbye soon to be explained

To be as white as a wall
To play with my own ball
Understanding life better as I should
Keeping you away as I would
