Stay Poem by Juan Olivarez

Stay

Stay don't go, linger a while.
Stay and talk to me.
That I may laugh, just like a child,
I need you can't you see.

Stay don't go, I need to see,
Your face just as before.
Those big brown eyes looking at me,
Before you walk out the door.

Stay a while, no, not too long,
Then you can go your way.
When your'e with me, nothing seems wrong,
So please, won't you just stay.
