Stay Poem by Enyinwa Okechukwu Enyinwa

Stay

Stay, let my hands hold you forever.
Don't go, this road will be lonely
and wild.

Stay, our hearts are ours to love and
heal. Our tears are ours to kiss away.

Don't take that path, it is littered with thorns.

Stay, let's water our love with tenderness.

Stay and make the shape of my heart
perfect.

In your hands I want to grow, just stay.

For you I will dry a sea, just stay and
wet my lips with your exotic lips.

Don't take your smiles across the border
Because it flourishes my life.

In your hands lies my inner peace,
Please stay and beautify my world.

Stay with me.
