Statue - With - Its - Head - Of - Gold Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Statue - With - Its - Head - Of - Gold

The last and final empire
was represented
in the statue's feet
and toes, which were
made of iron mixed
with miry clay.

Daniel accurately
described the statue
the king saw in his dream.

It was a tall and dazzling
figure of a man.
This great image
stood in front of him,
and its appearance
was terrifying.

Daniel told the king
that HE - Nebuchadnezzar,
represented the head
of gold on the terrifying image.

He explained that God
had placed the kingdoms
of the world under his authority.

"The God of heaven
has given you sovereignty,
power, strength, and glory."

"Wherever people live,
or wild animals,
or birds of the air,
God has handed them
over to you and made
you ruler over them all.
Daniel concluded.
