State Of Confusion Poem by Sebastian Melmoth

State Of Confusion

Choices impaired the danger sirens at full volume

Hatred filled sinister sisters with gaunt faces wearing their piercing judgemental vision goggles on

Condescending voices trample a heart once full of hope crushed by the weight of fear

Head full of a million voices unpicking translating the messages of the soul

Putting on a brave face in the world hiding from the truth behind closed doors shut away from a cruel, cruel world

False Smiles the fake news of the body language masking the poor state of mental health

Switching twitching the agony that goes on inside a head

Dancing in circles dancing to a tune praying it will stop

Calm the stormy weather that travels across this state of confusion

Suddenly a breakthrough seeing clearly now of the life that matters

No longer a slave to the negativity you were always in control you were the one controlling your destiny
