The euphony reverberating in my head
Were the last three words that escaped your heart

And I withal hear it vividly;
The sound of your voice, calming my soul

Yet a subtle hint of danger lies beneath
As I number your heartbeat

And when I gazed at your eyes,
I saw a universe ripping itself apart

You are the rain on a sunny day,
A walking hurricane

For you are the epitome of thorny roses,
of every phase of the moon

Yet I refuse to depart from your storms
For you are my gravity and my equilibrium

And even if your heart is replete of discords,
They're resonant to the severed strings found on mine.
