Star Spider Poem by Christan Bowen

Star Spider

death becomes her
she whispers in the dark
what will I be but
a dagger in the heart?

could I dine on local cuisine
could I be what ive known for centuries
I am now known as a fiend
creating havoc and injuries

the fang that I carry
could bury the bones
ive bitten before
even left alone

brown, hairy
movie star scary
this much is true
ive come to know you
as you sit and watch the tv
I have come, creeping

I crawl onto your skin
stick my fangs in
when the sickness starts
the hardest part
is knowing I bit you
there is one thing I admit to
I bristle with hate
and I can change your fate
