Little star so very high
Why do you make us wonder
How is in our minds
To look up to you and say,

Can we wish upon a star
Wherefore to make us feel happy
Even though you are so far
Why not ask it anyway

Oh twinkle little star
I wish for a Love without the heartaches
Even though we are apart
You can make my home a better place

I have seen and always pondered
In the magic that we pray
To wish and hope for something,
So much better than today

We are nothing without a feeling
And a hope within our hearts
Little star don't forget me
You can see her where you are

Can love be wished to make us happy
Two people with one heart
Unknowing of each other
Brought together by a star
