How do you stand so tall?
Where did you get the strength?
Aren’t you afraid that you’ll fall?
Who will take your place?

As you stand on your throne
You are king of the world
Did you do it all alone?
With no place to call home?

You reach for the sky
There’s something in the distance
You reach so high
You accomplish your goal

How do you trust
After all that has happened?
They left you in the dust
As if they never cared

Didn’t you ever wish you could have something more?
Place to go where you’re always welcome
Didn’t you ever hope things could be like before?
When you had friends

How do you forgive?
After you were forgotten
How could you keep on and live?
With no one ever there

I guess you are strong
Stronger than me…
You know what they did was wrong
But you just forgot them
You told yourself you belong
And now you’re telling me
