Spring Poem by Chloe Lubinska

Spring

Rating: 4.0

My love for you is as pure as dew,
That elegantly beckons the summer to loom.
It has been spring for a while now
A flint started when my eyes opened to see
such a beautiful flower bloom.
My love so powerful and new for when my eyes, everlasting
laid upon you.

Through the winters, autumns, and summers
My ignorance grew.
But not through the spring
Of when my love turned to you.
It was an entity like no other
Evoking fate from what never was.
Building skyscrapers and museums
Saturated with our memories.

I caressed it, treasured it in my heart
Just for you, so even if our spring ended
You could thrive, live, and use my love
Open the doors and wonder through.
Oh just like we used to do.

Still the seasons tempt to diverse
The attention of an ordered entropy
because its sleep's at spring.
Through my dreams are like a music box
That only let us in;
Through the lock and key
Broken like a swing,
I'm still there at that glazing season
Hearing, absorbing
Your glazing bird sing.

A fitting dedication. If your cat understood English, your words would echo through her spirit.
