To the one in the spotlight
You're the star of the show
They all say they love you
Oh, how little they know

Staring and pointing
They see you through glass
A perfect face get through
While emotion can not pass

Infront of the camera
You wish you were backstage
And it's easy to feel trapped
When a limelight's a cage

To the one in the spotlight
Doesn't it feel more a curse?
Your income gets better
But your mindset gets worse
