Spool Of Lies Poem by Sam Bowen

Spool Of Lies

Please tell me this,
Please tell me why,
You're the one I miss,
And now i wish to die,

I would have given you everyting,
But everything wasn't enough,
You were looking for something,
Or someone, Someone who was tough,

All the times you spoke to me,
All I wanted to do was kiss you,
How long would it take you to see,
That you loved me too,

Though you'll never admit it,
Deep down you know it's true,
I know it's something you don't like to admit,
But hey, what can you do,

What's left to do in your spool of lies,
What's left to do with out any truth,
What's left of me when all hope dies,
What's left of those days of our youth,

You unlocked something inside of me,
But when you broke my soul,
That unlocked part of me that you didn't see,
Is the part of me that you stole,

Whenever you speak,
I get butterflies,
And my knees get weak,
When I look into your eyes
