Spellbound Poem by Ima Ryma

Spellbound

Rating: 5.0

To humankind who dare to roam
Into the forest claimed by him,
Un unforgiving, orn'ry gnome
Will punish for this trespass whim.
Dare enter where this gnome does dwell,
And he will know one does intrude.
He does confront and casts a spell,
Since he is in a cranky mood.
He gives the human a stern stare,
Without a word of dialog,
And waves his wand right then and there.
The human turns into a frog.

At first I thought it was a joke,
But then I heard me start to croak.
