I was so excited when your about to come out
You’re the only thing that I’m thinking about
I was nervous too
But when you came out I was really happy to see you
When I saw you I was crying because I’m really happy that you’re here
Your mom and I shed some tears
But that tears means that we’re happy
Because you’re here, our special baby
We’re really happy to see your ten tiny finger, ten tiny toes, one button nose and two ears to listen
And your beautiful sparkling brown eyes when you open
Them up; we’re really happy you
When you started saying “coo-coo”
Our hearts started filling with joy with your beautiful tiny smile
Makes me want to hug you so tight but I know that I can’t because you’re so fragile
All I can do is look at you hug you lightly and kiss you
That’s all I can do
For now; but after nine months of waiting
I can’t believe that you’re here in my arms holding
You; we’re happy to see you
We want to welcome you in the world that your about to see that everything in you’re eyes are new
We’ll show you everything and teach you everything that you need to know
We know that when you start crawling you’ll be roaming and wandering to the places that you want to go
But don’t you worry we’ll be with you every step of the way
To guide and take good care of you, we’ll be there every night and every day we know that’s what we have to do anyway
We’re thank god for giving us a happy healthy baby
We promise that we’re going to take good care of our baby even if we’re sad or happy
We thank you lord, thank you so much
