Sound Of Tears Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Sound Of Tears

ghosts whisper at night
calling my name, beckoning
come, we await you

listening but not with ears
silence, but the sound of tears

haunting melody
as fears crash against the shore
the past washed away

life is so mysterious
infinite experience

an old mother dies
as a new baby is born
both will rise anew
