Soul Of Nothingness Poem by Donovan Bob Immerman

Soul Of Nothingness

Rating: 4.0

Soul of nothingness

A dark room covered me with its hands
Cold, yet my soul is burning
Windows of my vision has now turned red
Lonely - I’m alone here suffocating
There is nothing left in this world
To accompany me
To feel my touch
As if I could touch and feel.
All colors have turned black
A broken film of my brain that –
Never stops
Never rests and never remembers.
I question myself with a million questions
And unknown is the answer
Now I feel as if I’m tied to this machines
That makes me scream
And pinches my emotion
Yet drains my life as if I’m dead
If only – if ONLY you had struggled like I have
Seen the world collapsed as I did
Heard the unspoken pitch of the Lucifer
With the loath of your God – Oh, the unholy one!
I have been damned for I have not sinned
For decades you deceived me like I’m your unwanted kin
I dance with dying will in your reign of fire
To achieve nothing but YOUR dream -
Your dream… my living hell.
Now I’ve broken apart like a doll,
You pat me with your same old lie:
NO ONE IS ALONE.
