Soul Mate Poem by Ban Sidhe

Soul Mate

In the bright of the moon when the drifts run deep
and the wolves hunt quiet through the snow;
Will you still remember how I feel this eve,
this eve as I hold your soul?

When the night is clear and the Lady's face
shines bright upon your brow;
Will you still remember my love for you
when I've faced that winnowing drow?

Some Samhain night at the death of the year
when the gates `tween worlds open wide;
Will you still remember to open your heart
and invite this poor shade inside?

In millennia hence when our souls do meet
on the wheel that the Lady turns;
Will you still remember my loving touch
will your soul for my love still burn?

When your soul calls out across the void of time
and my soul answers yours in kind;
Will you still remember our pledge this life
that caused our two souls to bind?

In the endless lifetimes that we two may share
while traveling towards destiny's close;
Will you still remember my love this life
Our love, no matter the woe…?
