Soul Bound Love Poem by Matthew Holloway

Soul Bound Love

I may not sleep at night
yet still I dream such dreams
yet still I see your face, smile
that magical light inside your eyes
which becomes that window
into your sweetest of souls
I hear your voice, our conversation
though life, time, cursed fate
may now keep us apart
and all such dreams may now be
but a beautiful memory
your laugh sits in the wind
your hand in my own
the warmth you gave to me
I shall forever hold
and this is what love truly is
something delightful
bound to our souls
