Song Of Infinite Love Poem by Saul McCandless

Song Of Infinite Love

Rating: 5.0

How I’d love to whisper, sugary, in your ear
Take away your emotive pains and fear
If for one dismal day or one sensual night
Kick loose your boots and take flight

To gaze upon a smiling, tender face
Accept the challenge, take part the race
Be your puppet master, control your heart
So for now and forever, be not apart

Touch me naked without a glove
Finding betrayal replaced, with love
I will find someday, your name in The Book
Dare I say your name or take a second look

Perhaps to just entwine our hands
Or sleep this night, in the dawn of sand
Give me one chance to impress your lips
Fear not mistakes and lies let slip.
