Song In Gray
Never saw so gray a day,
Bitter cold and bitter gray
Bitter sad and tearful too,
Trembling cold, I cry for you.
Gray's the color of love lost,
Gray a feeling of lost way
Gray a coldness, Love, distressed
Gray destroying, all the rest.
Pressed against a grayish mood,
When life overturns, it's rude,
This gray feeling, chokes you more,
As never was felt before.
When Love's gone,
Gray skies do hurt
As within a tearful fog,
Only gray,
Lives in your heart,
Sadly, tearing you apart.
So hard to escape those grey moods. matches up so well with winter grey. Wishing you a brighter tomorrow and a happy new year.
