Song And Dance Man Poem by Buddy Bee Anthony

Song And Dance Man

You were built for speed.
With hot lovin to make me scream
with joy.
Why hide in the weeds with toys
when you could play
with a real man
instead of little boys
I don't ask to be
your forever dream come true
But, when your most special one
hurts or deserts you
I'd be a sturdy tree
for you to run to
a soothing balm
Til your winds die down
into dead calm of night
I could be there for you
til your goals are in sight.
As your second glance man,
Your cuttin' in,
strong chance man
Your feelin' right so wrong man
Will there be anything else you need ma'am
Before I tuck you into bed just right.
As your song and dance man tonight...
