This broken heart is more than I can take
Pain is filling me up from head to toe
Each and every day I fall harder and harder
And I can't figure out what to do
Cause I know that this pain isn't going to go away on its own

Stuck here all alone wondering what to do
Standing in the rain cause no one can see the tears
Dreaming of the way things should be
Wanting someone by my side

Every step that I take feels like I'm getting weaker and weaker
No matter what I do still feels like I'm not good enough
Looking for a shooting star so I can wish this life away
Tired of being here
Wonder if anybody sees the pain behind my eyes

Everyday I cover up in the mirror
And put on a fake smile
I wonder if anyone will notice this broken smile
Can anyone see that I'm living nothing but a lie

Somewhere in between this pain my soul is screaming
Screaming hoping that someone will hear
Somewhere in between my body there's a part of me that's wanting to die
Wanting it to end
Surprised the pain hasn't killed me yet

So much pain pilled up inside
And somewhere in between that pain is a heart that's broken
Wanting someone to fix it but who would
Who would love someone like me

I think I can handle it all on my own
All the pain is becoming numb
But somewhere in between lies an untold story
Somewhere in between this fight I'm winning
Trying hard to strive on my own

Trying to fight the thoughts within my mind
The thoughts of suicide
Somewhere in between my mind there's a spark thats saying I can make it
Make it to the end without ending it in one night

Gotta make it
Gotta stay strong
No matter the cost I have to fight the thoughts
Cause somewhere in between this life there is something for me
Something that's worthwhile
