I used to need an excuse
To accept being a recluse
I used to sit and mope all day
Just because a few things didn't go my way
But then I grew out of that phase
I realized I'm better off anyways
And all the people that resent me
Well they could all just let me be

There's a light at the end of the tunnel
And although the train is moving rather slow
At least I know I'm not staying here for good

I will look back and laugh at this day
Whether or not I'm living my dreams
That will all work in between
My life for now is being free
