Sometimes it's the beating of my heart
That reminds me that i'm dead inside
Sometimes all it takes is a great idea
To help me realize i've got nothing on my mind
Sometimes it's the shoes
That hurt my soles
Sometimes it's the sweater
That makes me feel cold
Sometimes it's the baby blanket
That makes me feel old
But this time it's being with you
That makes me feel like i'm alone.
