One year is nearly here
One year without you near
and i still shed a tear
though i drown those thoughts with beer

My best friend you were to me
Worth more than i did to me
Number one place you did earn
Now i live my lesson learned


So without you i now wonder free
Trying to understand me
Still i hear the becon call
But i have no heart, i gave it all

You are a friend i need no more as i have cloesed that open door
But a sadness remains to remember what for
...

So i relax in my thoughts of love
Some day i will find another love
A friend through thick and thin
One who will love me and never give in
