I need someone who will stay with me,
Who will never walk away.
Someone who wants to be with me
In darkest night as well as day.
I want someone who'll take my hand
And walk close to my side.
I need someone who'll remain with me,
Forever to abide.

I need someone who will stand with me.
Who will never walk away.
Someone who wants to be with me
To give, to laugh, to play.
I want someone who'll hold my heart
Feel free and not to hide.
I need someone to be close to me,
And not leave me behind.

I need someone who will walk with me
And not be pushed away.
Someone who wants to be with me
Through this world though come what may.
I want someone who's strong and kind,
With friendship on his mind.
I need someone to stay with me,
Forever to abide.
