Some Weather Poem by Gus Schreiber

Some Weather

Im waiting for you to say something
Alone in a room
On a sidewalk
An elevator
A subway
It’s just me and you today
And our eyes scurry on the floor
Fleeing one another
The silence frightens me
Because it knows what im thinking.
And it pounds into my head
That you might too.
