Some Place Poem by Chas CCK

Some Place

You may ask, where do I want to go?
Where would I love to visit?
From the 196 countries on Earth,
Where would I like to stay?

I'd love to go everywhere,
From here to every spot mankind has set foot on.
But now to think of it,
There is this one special place I'd like to stay.

This place isn't like any other.
Though it's small, it's warm.
And if you were wondering,
Hawaii's not the place.

Might just be me, but I can't guarantee,
I'd love to make it my own, make it my home.
It's peaceful, and not crowded, not that I'd be going anywhere,
But some things are always an arms reach away no matter how hard you try.

Ignore the critics out there.
From Paris to New York,
Even Vancouver can't compare.
Belonging to you as much as it belongs to me,

For what it's worth, the best place on Earth,
Would be in your arms as you'd be in mine.
