POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Note:This poem was inspired this morning upon awakening from sleep. The first verse came to mind, then the second verse with a little thought. After some more thought, five different versions of the last line came to mind over time. The inspiration was the handling of the corona virus and the quick decisions without a holistic approach. The typical reaction to problems as after thoughts with political shows and distractions. As usual the common man will suffer, loose freedoms and the wealthy proper through the political manipulation to push a corporate agenda to transfer tax funds into private pockets.Money to charities and NGOs areoften scam organisations and rarely get to the people in the most need.

I wrote this poem in the haiku style of poetry and published it on my blogfor the first time today, the 18th of March,2020. I ask readers to tell me their favourite poem or version of the sametheme in the comment section below.
