Solstice End
At solstice end
As the sun dips below the horizon
The day ends that had begun months before
Tomorrow the days shorten
As we begin the journey to years end
The holly king is born
His journey through the year begins
The oak king gos to rest
The year moves on
Fresh starts and endeavours
Safe journeys to us all
