Solemnity Poem by Doom & Gloom

Solemnity

Rating: 3.6

The time hath arrived for my final goodbye
It is time for me to diminish and die
To place myself on the alter of life
To please mine own sacrificial delight

'This is my Body, which will be given up for you'.

The end of life can taste so divine
To escape the constraints of space and time
I shall not be afraid, I will embrace my resolve
The puzzle of life I shall finally solve

'This is my blood which will be shed for many'

I have shown you the way to be totally free
To return to the nothing we all used to be
So follow this path and banish your fears
For once you are dead there shall be no more tears.

'Do this in memory of me'

Very well written. I feel this way too sometimes, like you love someone wo much you wish you could die, or pray to have the courage. Like something inside of you is so smart and stuff, and intelligent, but your common sense or something interferes, thus, making you feel so helpless and sad. I love this poem its' awesome. One of my faves now. Good job! Marley

D & G, All that you have shown anyone ... is how NOT to do life ! You must be so little proud! Wouldn't it be interesting to see, what the other side could be? B.V.A.
