So Strange To Want These Things Poem by Paul Warren

So Strange To Want These Things

Rating: 5.0

So strange to want these things

A sweet cool breeze
On a warm summer's day
Lying in bed so snug
And wanting to stay
So strange to want these things

Laughter so heartily made
Returning easily for its next escapade
Walking with your dog
On a bright crisp sunny morning
So strange to want these things

A glass of red wine to savour
In the front of a blazing fire
Just passing time with who you love
Gently conversing on everything
So strange to want these things.

Loved it. Simple pleasures give the greatest happiness. Kudos!

I beg to differ with LeeAnn. I have felt very often, the way Paul has. It is quite strange… to want many a thing! I ask myself, Why? ? ?
