So Lost And So Alone. Poem by Sandra Feldman

So Lost And So Alone.

Rating: 5.0

An outstretched hand,
Comforting words
Softly said in time
Can mean, so much!
God knows,
We're so alone and lost
In this Valley
Of hypocrisy and deception.
This beloved, "Terra Nostra",
Our dear Earth,
That we so selfishly,
Mistreat and Mutilate,
Thinking that all
Belongs to Us,
Not counting other
Living creatures
And growing things.
For we are,
Selfish and inhuman beings,
Who for centuries
Have cultivated, not eliminated,
Evil's touch from our souls,
Nor successfully planned
Evil's well deserved
Discrimination and defeat!

A powerful, incisive and perceptive write. The first four lines are so touching that I became teary eyed while reading it. Yes, hypocrisy and deception have been so widespread. To some, evilness has been ingrained to their very core. An excellent write with a meaningful message to humanity. A wake up call to everyone. Onto my Poem List.

Man, without God in his life, is defeated by the devil. Let man recognize the one true God who is the Creator.......10++++

i wrestle conceptually with fighting for peace or loving towards it. Can a loving means to a loving end ever work? Thanks for knocking the dust out of my head here and there.
