When you feel so alone
And your world crumbles down
You scream all your pain
And no one hears a sound

A scream so very loud
A cry in the night
Yet there is no one there
Who can make it all right

Watching the mistakes
There's nothing you can do
You can't comprehend
Why they don't listen to you

You try to stay strong
You try to do good
They don't appreciate it
Though you thought they would

They say you make them happy
They say you make them proud
But it doesn't mean a thing
When their doubt is so loud.

I want to fight for them
I want to be strong
Yet everything they are doing
Seems so very wrong

Leave me alone
Leave me to cry
Leave me in misery
Just let me die.
