Snowing Poem by Ronald Chapman

Snowing

Snow is dropping from the sky with
Flakes of white, that
Are flakes of various different crystal shapes.
Drifting over hills and roads,
Gently falling on tree tops,
To paint the trees with white.
The snow is covering the
Ground with a blanket of white!

Snow slippery as ice with white
Flakes that are covering the roads,
Is turning to slush while
Hiding from
The roaring wide car tires in the
World of man.
From icy snow flakes melting.
Road top coming out of hiding.

Snow turning to slush.
Flakes of brown,
Melting in
Too red, yellow, and black water.
Mountain snows are ending.
Higher mounds of dirt, salt
And gravel.
Higher these mounds grow.

Until the white crystal shapes
of snow flakes
vanish out of site.
