A gush of chilly wind brushes against my skin
As specks of white pour down over the cold earth
My world is raining down with soft, powdery snow
Falling down slowly like how slowly you fell for me
When our fates intertwined
A snowflake, beautiful and complex
Can't simply be seen by the naked eye
Like you, a rare one of a kind
And as you fall onto my palm,
I'm immediately imprisoned
By your indescribable beauty
Yet now you quickly melt away as you held my hand
Just as quickly as how you thawed my frozen heart
Like a snowflake, softly falling then melting away
There may be trillions
Of accumulating snowflakes everywhere
But none as beautifully unique as you.
