Slow Our Pace Poem by Hannah Randle

Slow Our Pace

They left in groups
Came back in boxes
They fight and kill like Spanish foxes
One by one they came home sadly
No life left, they were hurt so badly
Families mourn for those lost men
But it happens over and over again
Peace on earth is we ask
For what is done is in the past
Let’s save the future, the end of life
for all these men, they have a wife!
The end is coming, we’ll kill our race
Let’s stop the kill and slow our pace
