Slipping Poem by Christine A Kysely

Slipping

Slipping can happen
either fast or slow
It can be a deliberate drama
or an accident of karma...

It can be something that's fun
It can happen on the run...
It can happen with a smile
or it can be tragic event
with terrible consequences
wounds to reconcile.

Slipping can be a physical act...
where your body takes a ride
or it can be a mental game...
where angels dare to hide.

In either case
It's a paradigm shift...
from steady, stable and strong
to unsettled and unbalanced tricks...
unsure of what went wrong.

The real trick to conquering slipping
is to catch yourself...
When you see all your insecurities...
When you catch yourself unsure...
Attach yourself
to nearest source of strength
a pillar of ongoing moral support.

Support can come in many ways
It can be a friend with just a smile.
It can be just the simple comfort
of words offered up in silent prayer...

It can be the framework
along the voyage
of your passage...
the meanings
in your message...
It can be the bellboy
of your baggage.
