Sleepy Thoughts Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Sleepy Thoughts

Rating: 5.0

Kiddy catnap even old
Cuddle, snuggle, if it's cold
Nuzzle, snuzzle will unfold

Napping, lapsing in and out
Siesta, fiesta layabout
Slumber, number it's lights out

Snoozen, loosen sleepy thoughts
Dozing, closing eyes have not
seen the dreams that I forgot

Your poem captures the fading in and out of fatigue overcoming wakefulness. I think I am ready for a nap. Cleverly written.
