Sleeping In Bliss Poem by Micah Thompson

Sleeping In Bliss

Rating: 5.0

What was her name again
Why did she affect me so
Was she the one for me
Why did I let her go
Or did I push away again
Fearful of what lies beyond
Laying next to her
In light of the following dawn

Was it responsibility
Or the pain of being alone
Was it the haunting memories
Or the fear of moving on
Maybe the feel of her body
The taste of her lips
For once in a lifetime
Again, sleeping in bliss
