Sleep well and deep, my little rabbit.
My thoughts shall enwrap you in tender cottony clouds,
My magical wings shall fly you to a land of wonderful light.
My songs shall enchant the rugged dwellers of your nightmare
Shall dance them away with the gentle sway of my rhymes
Shall keep them busy, dizzy them to sleep deep, deep.
Sleep well and deep, my little rabbit.
Night shall switch to light to hold you tight to her bosom.
Flowers shall offer themselves to you in full blossom.
Birds shall nest you, animals vest you with their love,
Creatures all shall greet you, grand, great and small.
Moon and sun shall hop and run to wit your arrival.
Sleep well and deep, my little rabbit.
Sweet and tiny little creatures in you shall delight.
Shall find in you their ideal playmate, sweet and bright.
Your magical tricks shall keep their senses awake till daylight.
Sleep well and deep, my little rabbit.
I shall go to sleep only to keep sight of you.
My eyes I shall close only to be closest to you.
