Sleep Poem by Janelle Morehart

Sleep

Sounds surround me
Voices assaulting my ears and mind
Laughing, yelling and arguing
I'm too tired to hear this
Too sick to deal with it all
Make it stop...
I don't want to be here anymore!
No, I'm not hungry
No, I'm not thirsty
Just let me sleep
I want to rest
Just let me go about my life the way I am now
Nothings wrong with me
Maybe its all of you
It can't be me
It's impossible
It's not me
Just let me sleep
I only want to sleep......
