Six Degrees Of Separation…. Poem by KUNAL SETH

Six Degrees Of Separation….

Coming back to you
Doesn’t seem easy not even a fluke
How close it has been
It doesn’t matter now cuz we are through
Havent gone that far but couldn’t say we were close
As these six degrees of separation is what we couldn’t move.

There is no meaning in observing skies,
In waiting for winters, in wet eyes.
What is left is remains of my watch
Tired of counting moments since last we talked.
I have walked a million miles in quiet madness
Crazy thoughts and endless darkness.
Turned to you but we had six degrees of separation that we couldn’t move.

Hunted for reasons with knives blunt with doubt
Couldn’t see anything cuz we were the bait.
There were days I said words
There were days when I was only words.
Now I am leaving with an impervious soul
Filled with hollowness thrown.
Looked around to say goodbye! !
Could vaguely see your shadow that was disappearing fast
Can‘t call your name
Six degrees of separation has driven me insane.

This is intense, breathtaking imagery, very sad, sometimes the shortest distance is the longest! I can relate so well with this poem, its like you're talkign about 'my story' Preets
