Sitting Here Poem by Kiera R Lewis

Sitting Here

I was sitting here thinking
man, what did I do?
I was sitting here thinking
that I might have just lost you.
I was sitting here thinking
I wasn't sure at all.
I was sitting here thinking
my head and tears starting to fall.
I was sitting here thinking
almost brokenhearted.
I was sitting here thinking
a possible love departed.
I was sitting here thinking
Quitia help me out
B, you his boy, what's going to come about?
I was sitting here thinking
maybe I'm overreacting.
I was sitting here thinking
about backtracking.
I was sitting here thinking
maybe I should call.
I was sitting here thinking
when you didn't answer that call.
I was sitting here thinking
this is so depressing.
I was sitting here thinking
I am really stressing.
I was sitting here thinking
Ke, go to sleep.
Take your mind off the matter
and go count some sheep!
I was sitting here thinking
it's a new day.
I was sitting here thinking
hopefully everything will be okay.
Now, I'm sitting here thinking
this dude really got me tripping.
I'm sitting here thinking
I'm literally flipping!
I'm sitting here thinking
where is he?
I'm sitting here thinking
maybe his feelings have changed about me.
I'm sitting here thinking
man, what's next?
Instead of a call I'll send him a text.
When I got the reply
I thought I would cry.
I was sitting here thinking
this love will never die.
