For Suzanne and Melvina

I have two sisters of mercy.
On sister found me
and introduced me to the other.
Between them both,
they turned my world around.
Where I had given up,
they gave me the courage
to start all over again.
Their confidence in me
pushed me to do things
I never thought I’d do.
I have written many times
about these two sisters
whom without them
I’m not sure what I’d do.
Now I’d like to say
Thank You for being you.
