Sincerity In Poetry Poem by Sandra Feldman

Sincerity In Poetry

Rating: 5.0

The most intimate feelings,
Are thru you revealed,
In Poetry,
Nothing, should be concealed,
The flow must be constant,
Clear and grand,
Like a bell that has finally,
Found its true land,
Feelings and words,
Then do intertwine,
Poetry touches,
A cord that's divine.

THE FLOW SHOULD BE CONSTANT, / CLEAR AND GRAND Not only do I want to read such poetry, I want to write it. There are probably a thousand different ways to achieve it, but I envision a serious subject, perhaps an imperiled value or environment, whose beauty and worth must be affirmed in those who are careless, shortsighted, unmoved. Let's try to reach the most obdurate with this poetry touched by the divine!

One of your more poignant pieces, Sandra. Poetry should have no restraints. Feelings should flow, smooth and sweet like honey, and pure and swift as a melt water stream.
