what are we?
it’s complicated
no
it’s actually very

simple

you smile and
the world is wrapped in
golden sunshine
i smile back

who are we?
two people
who just happen to be
by circumstance

womanandman
brotherandsister
oneanother

why are we?
it must be
written in some
constellation

because
happiness
was never
this
simple
